FAITH BASED

ALAN WOMACK: Faith Based Alan is the Minister of Youth and Young Adults at Cathedral of Hope. His passion for ending youth homelessness was ignited when he saw the devastating effects of youth being kicked out of their homes by the people who are supposed to be their family. After the realization that the Bible calls us to be people of radical welcome and hospitality, he quickly realized that if Christians cannot provide that welcome and love to our flesh-and-blood family members, who are easy to love, we need a radical shifting of understanding around theology about sexuality, and to come alongside families who have kicked out their children for coming out of the closet about their sexuality, and shepherd them back to a loving, radically welcoming relationship with their children.
